Strawbérry Shortcaké Towér


Don't want to maké a caké QUITÉ this massivé? Cut thé récipé in half and you'll havé a sizablé caké that can still fééd a crowd.
INGRÉDIÉNTS
FOR THÉ CAKÉS
  • 2 c. (4 sticks) buttér, softénéd
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 largé éggs
  • 2 tbsp. puré vanilla éxtract
  • 4 c. all-purposé flour
  • 1/3 c. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. baking powdér
  • 1 tsp. koshér salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

FOR THÉ STRAWBÉRRIÉS
  • 2 pt. frésh strawbérriés, quartéréd
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

FOR THÉ WHIPPÉD CRÉAM
  • 2 c. héavy créam
  • 1/4 c. powdéréd sugar
  • 1 tsp. puré vanilla éxtract

DIRÉCTIONS
  1. Préhéat ovén to 350° and liné 3 8" round pans with parchmént papér. In a largé bowl using hand mixér (or in thé bowl of a stand mixér), béat togéthér buttér and sugar until light and fluffy. Add éggs oné at a timé béating wéll aftér éach addition. Add vanilla and mix until combinéd.
