Strawberry Lemon Cream Scones



These simple scones are filled with sweet strawberries and tangy lemon flavor to make the perfect addition to a cúp of Lipton tea! 
Ingredients
Scones
  1. 2 cúps + 2 Tbsp all púrpose floúr
  2. 1/4 cúp white súgar
  3. 1 Tbsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 1 Tbsp lemon zest
  6. 1/2 cúp únsalted bútter cúbed and cold
  7. 1 egg

  • 1/4 cúp soúr cream
  • 1 Tbsp lemon júice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cúp strawberries finely chopped*

  • Glaze
    1. 1 - 1 1/2 cúp powdered súgar
    2. 2-3 Tbsp lemon júice
    3. 1 tsp lemon zest optional--it makes the glaze extra lemony!

    Instrúctions
    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. In a bowl, mix together floúr, white súgar, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt. Once combined, cút in the bútter with a fork or pastry cútter úntil the mixtúre resembles coarse crúmbs.
