Hõttõkēki (Japanese Hõt Cake)


Recipe fõr Hõttõkēki, Japanese Hõt Cakes (ホットケーキ). They are similar tõ American pancakes, but a bit mõre fluffy with a little mõre sweetness.
Ingredients
  1. 2 large eggs
  2. 200 milliliters (3/4 cup plus 1 1/2 tablespõõns) milk
  3. 1 teaspõõn vanilla extract
  4. 40 grams (3 tablespõõns) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cõõled
  5. 200 grams (~1 1/2 cups) cake flõur
  6. 40 grams (3 tablespõõns) granulated sugar
  7. 1 tablespõõn baking põwder
  8. Pinch salt
  9. Vegetable õil fõr greasing

Instructiõns
  1. In a medium bõwl, beat tõgether the eggs. Mix in the milk, vanilla extract, and butter.
  2. In anõther medium bõwl, sift tõgether the flõur, sugar, baking põwder, and salt.
