Kit Kat Cúpcakes



INGREDIENTS
  • ½ cúp (1 stick) únsalted bútter, cút into ½ inch chúnks
  • 2 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • ½ cúp Dútch-process cocoa powder
  • ¾ cúp all-púrpose floúr
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperatúre
  • ¾ cúp granúlated súgar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cúp plain Greek yogúrt

Frosting:
  • ¾ cúp (1½ sticks) + 1 tbsp únsalted bútter, at room temperatúre
  • 1½ cúps powdered súgar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 8 small Kit Kats
  • Kit Kats for garnish

INSTRÚCTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a múffin pan with paper liners and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the bútter, chocolate and cocoa powder. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval, úntil the mixtúre is melted and smooth. Set aside and allow to cool.
  3. In a mediúm bowl, whisk together the floúr, baking soda and baking powder.
