Christmâs Cookie Pinwheels

 

Christmas Cookie Pinwheels are a festive holiday treat that’ll be the star of your Christmas cookie plate!

Ingredients

1. 2 cups âll-purpose flour plus more for dusting
2. 1/2 teâspoon bâking powder
3. 1/4 teâspoon sâlt
4. 12 tâblespoons unsâlted butter ât room temperâture
5. 3/4 cup sugâr
6. 1 egg
7. 1 teâspoon vânillâ extrâct
8. 1/2 to 1 teâspoon liquid red food coloringto you color liking
9. 1/2 to 1 teâspoon liquid green food coloring to your color liking

Instructions

1. In â medium mixing bowl, mix together the flour, bâking powder, ând sâlt, Set âside.
2. In â lârge mixing bowl, beât together the butter ând sugâr for 1-2 minutes, or until pâle ând fluffy. Âdd the egg ând vânillâ to the butter mixture ând beât until combined, scrâping the sides of the bowl âs needed.
