- 1/2 apple, slashed into two pieces
- ½ lemon
- ½ onion
- 1 stalk celery, divided
- 1 sprig crisp rosemary
- 1 sprig crisp thyme
- Salt, to taste
- ½ glass (1 stick) margarine
- ½ glass maple syrúp
- 1 glass water
- Preheat broiler to 350 degrees F.
