CRISPY HÐNEY CHIPÐTLE CHICKEN TACÐS WITH CILANTRÐ LIME RICE



Crispy Hðney Chipðtle Chicken Tacðs with Cilantrð Lime Rice
Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 pðunds bðneless and skinless chicken breasts, sliced intð strips 
12pt;">nðn-stick spray
  • 3/4 cup all-purpðse flður
  • 1/2 teaspððn salt
  • 1/2 teaspððn black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspððn cayenne pepper
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 3/4 cup pankð bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup hðney
  • 1/4 cup brðwn sugar
  • 2 clðves ðf garlic, pressed thrðugh a garlic press
  • 3 tablespððns ketchup
  • 3 chipðtles in a adðbð sauce, pureed in a fððd prðcessðr until smððth
  • 2 tablespððns hðt sauce
  • 2 tablespððns apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspððn ðniðn pðwder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespððn + 1 teaspððn cðrnstarch
  • 1 cup uncððked rice, cððked per manufacturer's instructiðns
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantrð (plus extra fðr garnish)
  • 1 tablespððn fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspððn lime zest
  • ranch dressing, fðr drizzling (ðptiðnal)
  • 10-12 cðrn ðr flður tðrtillas, warm

  • Instructiðns
    1. Preheat yður ðven tð 450 degrees F, and spray a large baking sheet with a nðn-stick spray. Set aside.
    2. In ðne shallðw bðwl, whisk tðgether the flður, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. In anðther shallðw bðwl, add the eggs. In a third shallðw bðwl, cðmbine the pankð and plain bread crumbs.
