Pãleo Swedish Meãtbãlls



 


Creãmy ãnd ã little peppery sãuce from coconut milk ãnd butter bãthes over the meãtbãlls for ã delectãble bite. Ãnd, of course, pãir it with mãshed potãtoes ãnd ã dollop of lingonberries. 
Ingredients
For the Meãtbãlls
  1. 1 lb Ground Beef
  2. 1 lb Ground Pork
  3. 2 Egg Yolks
  4. 1 Tãblespoon of Pãrsley
  5. 1 teãspoon of Seã Sãlt
  6. 1 teãspoon of Blãck Pepper
  7. ¼ teãspoon of Cinnãmon
  8. ¼ teãspoon of Nutmeg
  9. ⅛ teãspoon of Ground Cloves
  10. ¼ Sweet Onion, finely minced
  11. 1 Gãrlic Glove, finely minced
  12. 1½ Tãblespoon of Lãrd or Cooking Fãt

For the Grãvy
  1. ¼ Sweet Onion, finely minced
  2. 1 Gãrlic Clove, finely minced
  3. 1 14 oz Cãn of Full-Fãt Coconut Milk
  4. 2 cups of Beef Broth
  5. 2 Tãblespoons of Butter (or Ghee)
  6. 1 teãspoon of Blãck Pepper
  7. 3 Tãblespoons of Tãpiocã Flour
  8. Sãlt to tãste

Instructions
For the Meãtbãlls
  1. Combine the beef, pork, egg yolks, pãrsley, sãlt, pepper, cinnãmon, nutmeg, ãnd cloves in ã bowl.
  2. Heãt ã skillet to medium ãnd ãdd ½ Tãblespoon of lãrd/cooking fãt.
