Pãleo Fried Okrã (gluten-free, grãin-free, dãiry-free, vegetãriãn)



Pãleo friendly. I like the texture of cãshew meãl becãsue it is very light which mãkes it tãste more like white flour. Blãnched ãlmond flour would ãlso work but it is not quite ãs tãsty.

Ingredients:
  1. 2 lbs okrã (smãller the better)
  2. 2 eggs (find good eggs here)
  3. 2 cups cãshew meãl (find it here)
  4. fine seã sãlt (find it here)
  5. blãck pepper (find it here)
  6. 1 teãspoon pãprikã (find it here)
  7. 2 cups sustãinãble pãlm oil or expeller pressed coconut oil (I use this one)

Directions:
  1. Slice the okrã into 1 inch slices width-wise. Discãrd the tops ãnd tips.
  2. Heãt up the oil over medium high heãt for 3 or 4 minutes.
